Now that you have completed the webquest, you have a deeper understanding of the environmental issues facing Canada. As you now know, some of the issues are very serious. Our government needs to prioritize the environment and place it at the top of their agenda; our government needs to make laws to protect our environment. We, as citizens of Canada, have to take responsibility too. We need to make changes in our lives so that we are living in more environmentally friendly ways.

Now that you are aware of some of the ways that average citizens can change the way that they live in order to be more environmental, it is time for you to take action. In addition to making personal changes, you can help this cause by spreading the word. Finally, we can write to your MP to encourage him/her to work towards protecting our environment. You have a choice to make: are you going to be part of the problem or part of the solution?
